Summer was selected as an artist for the Junior Lifeguard Association fundraiser sponsored by RVCA and Sunbum. Among other local artists like Punky Aloha and Margie Rice, she was able to paint a floral wave onto a custom-shaped board that was then professionally glassed over. Each surfboard was then either sold or auctioned off, with all the proceeds going to the Junior Lifeguard Association.
